    Dr. Althea 147 Barrier Cream is a soft, blue-toned moisturiser for dry and sensitive skin that wants comforting, cushioned hydration. The blue colour comes from guaiazulene, a chamomile-derived ingredient that gives the cream its calm, gentle character. The texture is light but nourishing: it melts in quickly and settles without a heavy or sticky film, which makes it an easy last step at the end of an evening routine.

    A trio of ceramides, squalane and shea butter does the heavy lifting on moisture. Together they help reinforce the skin's surface, soften dry, flaky patches and keep skin feeling supple and comfortable through the day. Sodium hyaluronate draws water into the skin for a plumper, smoother look, while oligopeptide-1 supports a firmer, more refined-looking finish over time. Turmeric extract adds antioxidant support and helps skin look brighter and more even-toned.
